HOURS OF OPERATION: Thursday through saturday, 10am to 6pm; sunday 10am to 4pm.
If you want to come to the show and see the exhibits and shop in our Merchants Mall, but do not want to take classes or lectures, you do not have to register ahead of time. Our admissions desk is open at 9am each morning, a full hour before the show opens at 10am. You can buy a one-day pass for $10 or a multi-day pass for $15. Children 6-12 are $5 for a one-day pass and $10 for a multi-day pass. If you have bought a one-day pass and want to return, simply go to admissions with your band still in tact on your wrist and pay the difference of $5. The admissions staff will cut off your old band and secure the multi-day band on your wrist - and you're good to go!
We are not set up at the show to accept credit cards for admission or the sale of classes, lectures or memorabilia. We will honor checks or cash. However, the merchants in our merchants mall DO accept credit cards.
SCOOTER RENTAL: Call Keystone Mobility at 717-482-8140. Their price is $35/day plus a one-time fee of $25 to deliver the scooter to the Lodge and pick it up at the end of your stay*. (*Prices may be subject to change) Pick it up at the Bell Station at the Lodge. If you need to cancel, you can call Keystone two days before the show with no penalty fees. You will be asked for a credit card number to hold your reservation. And they will need the height and weight of the person using the scooter so they can provide the best fit. Prices subject to change: Quilt Odyssey and the Hershey Convention Center and Hershey Lodge assume no liability or responsibility for any claims pertaining to the scooter usage. Neither Hershey nor Quilt Odyssey profit from the rental of the scooters - the cost and responsibility is between the user/renter and the rental company.

There are many fine restaurants in Hershey including four restaurants connected to the Hershey Convention Center. On-site restaurants are:
The Cocoa Beanery: a coffee shop that also serves breakfast and lunch a la carte items
Lebby Lebkickers: Lebby's offers either a menu or buffet for breakfast/brunch. Not open for supper.
The Bears Den: a sports bar that serves generous portions of lighter fare - great sandwiches, salads and all!
The Hershey Grill: an upbeat restaurant with delightful dinners, slightly more expensive than the Bears' Den, but worth every mouth watering bite!
The Forebay Lounge: known for its steaks, this restaurant is cozy and comfortable.
We offer an ample supply of tables and chairs, both inside and outside, to rest your feet or have a place to eat. We also have water stations located in the merchants mall and quilt exhibit room. We require that you do not take food or drink into the quilt exhibit area.
Registration Information - PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING!
PLEASE NOTE, the deadline for registering is July 1. For ordering merchandise, the deadline is June 10. PLEASE NO EXCEPTIONS! This is so we can get your schedules out to you on time. If you wish to register for a class, add/or cancel a class, or sell a class after July 5, you will need to do so at our QO Registration Desk at the Hershey Convention Center Chocolate Lobby (refer to map sent with other registration material in June). Hours for the QO Registration Desk are Wednesday, July 19th 4-9pm, Thursday through Saturday, July 20-22, from 8am - 6pm. We will again have a bulletin board by the registration area detailing which workshops are still open and also, if any workshops are "for sale." Please check with our Quilt Odyssey staff at the Registration Desk if you have any questions about the procedures. Maps of the Hershey Convention Center will be included with registrants' packets of information sent in June.
CANCELING A CLASS: Please read our cancellation policy under "ABOUT US: REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS." The deadline for canceling classes is June 10. After this date, there will be no refunds.
HOW TO BE PUT ON THE WAITING LIST: If the class you want is full and you want to be placed on the waiting list, just log on and go to the class and press the "buy" button as if you were purchasing the class. Although it will not show up in your cart and will not charge you for the class, it will register your email and put you on the waiting list. If there is an opening in that class before the July 5 deadline, an email will be sent to all letting them know. Then it will be on a first-come, first served basis. This way, everyone has a fair chance.
With your registration fee of $20 you will receive a commemorative pin and a badge which is the same as a multi-day pass into the merchants mall and exhibits. Unfortunately, we must charge $12.00 for any replacement badges. When a badge is lost, whoever picks it up has access to the merchants mall and quilt exhibits without paying the multi-day admission fee. This is unfair to those of you who have paid the registration fee, so please keep your badge in a safe place!
SCHEDULES WILL BE SENT IN JUNE - which you need to present to Registration at the show to collect your badge, pin and lanyard. NEW PROCEDURE: If you ordered merchandise, you will receive a voucher for each item you ordered - GO TO THE MEMORABILIA BOOTH TO COLLECT YOUR MERCHANDISE, NOT REGISTRATION.
No auditing of any class or lecture will be allowed. This is not fair to both the instructor and the students who paid for the class.
Totes, T-Shirts, Commemorative Pins & Patterns for our 17th Year!
Mimi Dietrich and Norma Campbell again have designed this year's pins, totes and T-shirts and are offering a 17th year anniversary pattern which will be available for pre-order and at the show. The cost will be $8.50 for the pattern.
Quilt Odyssey 2017 totes will be available this year in limited quantities. These jumbo totes are heavy, durable cotton canvas with a bottom gusset with "Quilt Odyssey 2017" plus this year's design logo written on them. You can order them ($15.00 each, tax included) ahead of time on your registration form to ensure their availability and pick them up at the Registration Desk at the show.
Also available this year will be T-shirts with the same logo on them as the totes. They are 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, and full cut, selling for $18.00 each (no tax on clothing in PA). You can order these early to ensure the availability of your size as there will be limited quantities in S, M, L, XL, XXL and 3XL. You will need to pick them up at the Registration Desk at the show if you have registered for classes and/or lectures. If you have NOT registered, but would like to order any merchandise, then your order will be at our Memorabilia Booth waiting for you at the show.
Commemorative pins are included when you register. There also will be a limited amount of pins (from previous years too) available at Quilt Odyssey's Memorabilia booth outside the Merchants Mall in the Great American Hall Lobby. If you have been a registrant for five or ten years at Quilt Odyssey, you will receive a 5-year or 10-year pin FREE compliments of Quilt Odyssey*. These pins are different from the annual pins and will not be available for sale at the Memorabilia stand outside the Merchants Mall and are only available to registrants who meet the requirements. * If you have more than one account on our website, let us know: otherwise the computer does not compute the years correctly and you'll miss out on the 5- and 10-year pins. Let us know which account you are currently using and we'll transfer any part year account info to your current account and update our records.
To pre-order your merchandise, just click on the Buy button and it will be listed on your invoice and on your schedule. We'll have the merchandise waiting for you at our Memorabilia Booth at the convention center.
All merchandise will be for sale at Quilt Odyssey's Memorabilia stand with the exception of the 5-year and 10-year pins.
