FEATHERWEIGHT ATTACHMENTS & HOW TO USE THEM
— Betty Neff: Bring your Featherweight and
all those odd looking “parts” for a fun evening of discovery! Learn what
attachments you have and how to use them. But, we don’t stop there! Singer
designed attachments, sold separately, to do just about everything. Betty will
bring her collection for demonstration in class. See everything from an
“embroidery” foot to an automatic “pinker.” Some have to be seen to be believed.
New market feet and attachments will be available as well. This is a great time
to try “free motion” quilting with your machine. Don’t have full attachments?
Remember, other vintage Singer attachments will fit your Featherweight. There
will be a Q&A session during the last part of the class with Betty’s husband
Richard. Betty and Richard own Pennsylvania Quilter, a Featherweight vendor, and
are located in Quilt Odyssey’s merchants mall. SUPPLIES: BSS, SM
(Featherweight), instruction book, all attachments you have available. Fabric:
solid color scraps, (12) pieces cut into approximately 12” x 4” or 6” and (3)
pieces cut 3” x 45.” Optional: camera.
