Instructor: Betty Neff
Betty has finally done it! She designed her own Mariner Compass block the way she wanted to do one. Paper-pieced, 22” finished size, set-in backing easily done by machine (it’s 22” for goodness sake) and her fabrics choices are right out of 1835! Now you can interpret her pattern in your favorite colors and fabric. Class will begin with tips on paper-piecing. This is a great class for those that want to improve their technique. It is not for a novice, but good for a confident beginner. Experienced paper-piece enthusiasts will excel. Pre-cutting for paper-piecing needs to be done before class. Cutting specifics for background and border will be done in class. Pre-printed foundations are required. Pattern and foundations are available online. Pattern materials list available online as well. www.bettyneff.com Skill level: confident beginner to advanced.
